'Sledge Chi'

My task for the day:

shovel snow and break up ice (1-2" thick)

so that the wall crew can put up the walls in the basement

I'm pleased to report that I reached

'sledge chi' today!

While listening to music, I totally got into a rhythm.

And the sledge...

WOULDN'T LET ME STOP!!

my elbow started hurting -- took a drink of water and went right back to the sledge

my low back started hurting and twinge-ing -- water, back to the sledge

exhausted, sat or knelt down -- still sledging that ice

took off my gloves -- water, back to the sledge with no gloves

(at least I was working hard enough to keep me warm... and sweating!)

'Taping' Party

We started losing some items of ours at the construction site,

and it's not exactly easy to know whose is who's.

(Except for those who taped their things.)

So the kids and I (Jenn) had a taping party

to tape all of our things so they're easy to find,

and if it falls out of our belt for some reason,

others can know it's ours!

What color did we pick???

HOT PINK

(of course!)

Seems to be a color of interest for Dane and Porter lately.

Porter's Goatee

Porter insisted that he was a 'Little Daddy'

and that he had a goatee

(just like Daddy)

So, Daddy helped it a little on its way...

Family Nights

Game Night has become a favorite!

And Porter is VERY patient with taking turns -- who knew, eh?

And so has Pizza and a Movie Night!

I smell homemade popcorn...

'Can Ball'

It all started with Mom bringing home some fun interesting items from the house construction site

(If they can't come out to the site, we better bring some of the site to them!)

Next thing we know...

'Can-Ball' -- 'Paper-Ball' -- paper-rolling --

When the new-ness started to wear off, Myanna kept going back and finding new things to make and do with all of the little things...

A Package from 'Japan'

She sent us a Christmas package

Everyone got to try a little of everything!

We had a lot of fun!
